小简介 　　 　　来自美国加利福尼亚州的创作歌手Andrew McMahon化身Jack’s Mannequin，其同是Punk乐队Something Corporate灵魂人物，这是Jack’s Mannequin将于9月30日在美国发行的第二张录音室作品。乐器的演奏大部分还是原来的成员完成的，从旋律里宣扬着年轻活力的天真烂漫，弱拍吉他的riff配上美妙的琴键声，还有Andrew's看似娇作其实阳光的嗓音，更偏pop的编曲，整张专辑听下来你可以很明显的感受到The Beach Boys影子的存在。不知道能否感受音乐里又甜蜜又伤感的情绪。 　　 　　Formerly known as the vocalist/songwriter/pianist for the West Coast punk-pop quintet Something Corporate, Andrew McMahon explores the dark side with his emo pop side project, Jack's Mannequin. Utilizing the talents of numerous friends and collaborators, McMahon began work on the collective's debut in 2004. The resulting Everything in Transit, a pop-based "concept album exploring his alienating return to the hometown he left to pursue his music," was released on Maverick Records in August of 2005 to a positive response from fans and critics alike. However, a supporting summer tour was cancelled after McMahon was subsequently diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia that June. He underwent a successful bone marrow transplant (from his sister) in October and embarked on the long road to recovery. 　　 　　As McMahon recovered, a video for the album's first single, "The Mixed Tape," began making waves on VH1 and MTV. Jack's Mannequin played sporadic shows in 2006, including a brief summer headlining tour before serving as the opening act for O.A.R. on nationwide dates. A repackaged version of Transit appeared that fall coupled with a bonus DVD, and the band returned to the studio in mid-2007 to begin work on a sophomore effort. McMahon graced the cover of Alternative Press in January 2008, while an article inside the music magazine hyped the upcoming Jack's Mannequin release as one of the most highly-anticipated albums of 2008. Although originally scheduled for a summer release date, The Glass Passenger ultimately arrived that September.
