Saw you dancing in the rain

Like a child so pure and happy

I imagined the way you sang

In your eyes I met the innocence

Of a little sleeping girl

A doll in her hand

And your face in the crowd

Is as beautiful as snow

I remember the day I saw you

Now today I see you drowning

In your growth without the pain

Talking about the lies

When you laughed
