It comes from up there It comes from space

See I have a few friends that some of them are cosmonauts

and some of them are astronauts

And they are flying around over the planet as we speak right now

They are in the international space station

And they are going around the earth such an incredible speed

something like once every 90 minutes

And they tell me that they can see us from space

They definitely saw us the fireworks

Anyway the commander of the international space station

my very good friend Commander Scott Kelly

has a message for all of us on earth

And I'd like to hear it

Scott Kelly: Good evening Yanni Egypt and the world

Welcome to the Dream Concert

This is Commander Scott Kelly on board the international space station

I wanted to reach out from space and send all of you on earth a very special hello

I often fly over the Great Pyramids the Nile River and Cairo

and see their glowing lights from this incredible vantage point

During daylight the colors of our planet earth is breathtaking

And without political borders as we see in a map

it appears we are all part of the same global community

one which radiates peace and hope

I truly hope that one day all of mankind can see earth as it appears from space

and we can all live in peace and happiness

And I hope to see all of you soon back on planet earth

These people all of them are especial brave

I have seen them train

They're good friends of mine a lot of them

They're from all over the world and what they do for us is incredible

And it takes a very special human being to be able to do what they do extremely difficult

They put their lives on the line every single day

And in doing so they're inspiring the whole planet

They're inspiring all the humanity

I like to thank you guys

Thank you if you are up there and you can see us

Thank you for what you do for all of us

Keep on doing it We need you
