Flutist James Galway's latest commerical crossover release features a variety of contemporary hits, including the Grammy Award winning "From a Distance", "Send in the Clowns", "Angel of Music" (from Phantom of the Opera), "The Wind Beneath My Wings", and many more. 　　This is one of those incredibly beautiful CDs that you never really get tired of. James Galway's magically soaring flute takes you places, relaxing you and filling whatever corner you are in with beautiful music. Predictably, my favorite song is "The Wind Beneath My Wings" it soars triumphantly and wonderfully under James Galway's whimsical playing. "From a Distance" is also done uniquely, starting quietly and finishing with a beautiful (yes, you do use this word alot when describing this CD) climax of the chorus. Also not to missed are the haunting "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes", the enchanting "Come To My Garden" and "Miss Saigon" with its Oriental flair and exotic sound.
