One of the better recordings by Buddy Rich & His Big Band, this has more than its share of highlights, including a ballad feature for altoist Joe Romano ("God Bless the Child"), several notable spots for Pat LaBarbera (on tenor and soprano), some high-note trumpet by Lin Biviano on "Something," a strong rendition of "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey," and a surprise: a version of the Muppets' "Bein' Green" with Rich taking a surprisingly charming vocal while backed only by guitarist Walt Namuth.
