简介: ABOUT THE BOOKLET/CD "Reflections on Grieving" is a booklet that gently describes the grief journey and offers comfort through the mourning process. Tami Briggs composed the music so that it correlates with the various stages of grief mentioned in the book. The solo harp selections were inspired by having played at the bedside of hospital and hospice patients and families who are experiencing grief and loss. PROFILE: TAMI BRIGGS, THERAPEUTIC HARPIST Tami Briggs, therapeutic harpist, is a composer and recording artist. She has created 13 CDs for relaxation, stress reduction, and deep peace. Each CD has a theme—music for meditation, love songs, sleep, babies’ lullabies, classical favorites, patriotic, and Christmas, etc. Her favorite compliment which she receives again and again is, “This is the most relaxing, healing music I’ve ever heard in my life!” Her CDs are available on CDBaby and her CD label is “Musical Reflections.” ABOUT MUSICAL REFLECTIONS Musical Reflections was founded in 1999 by Tami Briggs, therapeutic harpist. Headquartered in Minneapolis, the company’s mission is to provide products and services to enhance and support the healing journey. All of our offerings—from CDs, downloads, and books to educational programs on the healing power of music—focus on relaxation, reflection, and healing. Tami, a pioneer in the harp therapy field, has a certification from the International Harp Therapy Program. She is a national speaker, composer and recording artist, and author of “Grace Notes: Reflections on the Harp and Healing.” WHAT LISTENERS HAVE SAID ABOUT "REFLECTIONS ON GRIEVING": “This book is so soft and gentle; in words and pictures, it beautifully describes the grieving process. The music is helping me express some of my long-buried feelings from the loss of my beloved daughter.” “I recently lost my mother and I found this booklet and CD to be so comforting. Therefore, I’m ordering 50 to give to the nursing home where she spent her last days.” “I’m the head nurse in the intensive care unit and we’re giving 'Reflections on Grieving' to each family when they have a loss. It is a perfect gift to them from us.” “I have decided to give these booklets/CDs to the grief group attendees at our church. It provided me with much comfort during my recent loss and I know it will do the same for our parishioners.”
