We All Go Up the Mountain Alone Together is Hunters' most focused, urgent record yet, filled with melodic, layered vocals and a loving embrace of classic rock tropes. The band’s blend of pop, folk, country, and rock influences are enhanced by the vintage production of San Francisco's Tiny Telephone studio, which is all analog. Song for song, this is Hunters' finest album to date. 　　 　　Hunters was founded by singer songwriter Rosa del Duca and guitarist Will Decher in 2011. They have been compared to Neko Case, Wilco, My Morning Jacket and Jenny Lewis. On one occasion, a crusty old man told them they sounded like Black Sabbath. But that guy was pretty drunk. 　　 　　We All Go Up the Mountain Alone features Rosa on vocals, Will on guitar, Lucy Giraldo on strings, Roy Felley on bass and John Maurer on drums.
