My name is Sherry Gates I was born on September 8, 1978 in Panola County, Mississippi. Both of my parents are still living in Panola County, I have five brothers and two sisters who also live in Panola County. I started my music talent in my home town church in Spring Hill Asa M.B. Baptist Church in Courtland, Ms. Then later my five brothers and I started a singing group called “Family Tied”. I currently work for the Belzoni Police Department as a law enforcement office in Belzoni, Mississippi. I have had trials and tribulation with trying to get my music career started, by working on my own and financial situations. I have in the past, performed in small towns’ churches and clubs. I am currently single and have three young boys, who are 13,12,8 years of age. They all currently live with me in Isola, Mississippi. I currently belong to Spring Hill Asa M.B. Baptist Church in Courtland, Ms. I am an active lead singer in the choir. I am also very active in the Gangster City Riders Motorcycle club as a Motorcycle Racers located in Isola, Ms. I have always been advised to “Deal with the faults of others as gently as with your own”. And each day I always try to think of others as I think of myself. The level that I would like to reach in the music industry is PLATINUM!
