Beek has been creating 8-bit chiptunes since the mid 1990's. He began composing with DOS-based trackers on the PC as a part of the worldwide demoscene which some say reached its peak in 1996. Nevertheless, beek's love for the sound and art of chiptunes continued on through his adulthood. 　　 　　He has composed original songs for PC, Gameboy and mobile handheld platforms. The Sokoban soundtrack is a continuation of this love of videogames and retro music. Inspired by his soundtrack to the Gameboy Color classic, Toki Tori, Jeff Grasso of Uphill Studio approached beek some years ago to see if he'd be interested in composing for his own indie game, having loved beek's sounds as a child when he first played Toki Tori. This soundtrack is the result of that outreach. Hope you enjoy!
