I started writing this album immediately after the release of "Beyond Return." The first track, "leave" inspired me to create an album with darker stories about topics that were more personal to me than what was raised in my first album. As the year went on, I tried to create songs that were impactful to me, usually resulting in music with a sad tone, while also creating beautiful or harsh soundscapes to back up the message being portrayed. 　　 　　I am happy to say that my goals for this album were met, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
