Raised in the traditions of old world Latin music by his father Javier, Andy Vargas is emerging as Latin Soul's New Favorite Son. Following R&B soul icons such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gay, The Temptatations and Etta James, Andy developed a unique singing voice blending old world charisma with new age energy and inspiration. 　　The late Terry Melcher was mesmerized by a then 17 year old Andy, and quickly paired him with RCA Records A&R Ron Pair for his first record Deal. With Carlos Santana's influences being at the top of Andy's list, it was a perfect match when even before his first record was released. Santana, impressed by Andy's talent, invited him to join one of the most anticipated tours in music history, "Supernatural" .
