Vainica Doble was a highly influential female folk duo formed by Carmen Santonja (1934-2000) and Gloria Van Aerssen. They were active, basically, between 1970 and 1984 with a mixture of folk, progressive rock, naive lyrics and fantastic backing musicians: Pepe Nieto, Aguaviva, Tickets (future Asfalto), Jose María Guzmán, Gualberto, Carlos Cárcamo, Javier Bergia, el Reverendo, el Gran Wyoming, Emilio Cao, Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Bosé, Paco Clavel...
