Growing up in the countryside of Denmark, RUSÍKA’s mother claims she could sing before she could talk. The lifelong vocalist is now a student at the Royal Danish Academy of Music where she continues to hone her voice. The minimal production style of her latest work highlights her unique tone. She floats over the melodies, dipping low and rising high throughout the weaves of bassy rhythms and pulsing synth hooks. Her flow is flawless, her wordplay refreshingly unique.
