Marianna Pizzolato began studying classical singing with Claudia Carbi, whom has remained her reference over the years, subsequently graduating magna cum laude from Conservatorio Bellini in Palermo, Italy. Collaboration with Raul Gimenez allowed her to further develop her belcanto interpretation. After attending a master with Enzo Dara, she made her operatic debut during the 2002/2003 season in Piacenza in the title role of Gioachino Rossini’s Tancredi, under the baton of Marco Zambelli. Her future engagement will see her among the soloists of Verdi’s Messa da Requiem in Leipzig, with Anthony Bramall, then performing and recording Il viaggio a Reims in Wildbad, for the Rossini in Wildbad Festival, under the baton of Antonino Fogliani, and both Maria Stuarda and Nabucco at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, conducted by Maurizio Benini.
