24 year old Hackman has been one of the most rewarding artists to emerge from the UK’s ever-shifting dance music landscape in recent years.
Debuting in 2010 with sublime singles for RAMP offshoot PTN (‘More than Ever’, ‘Made Up My Mind’), and more recently releasing an EP for Greco Roman featuring the magnificent ‘Close’, followed by ‘Agree To Disagree’ for PTN, Hackman has won fans across the board, from Nick Grimshaw to Mary Anne Hobbs to Skream.
2012 has seen Hackman hard at work in the studio, remixing for the likes of TEED, Lana Del Rey, and also working with vocalists for his upcoming debut album. We also saw a string of collaborative EPs and a limited 10″ drop; ‘Forgotten Notes’, which has been recently picked up by Gilles Peterson for his ‘Brownswood Bubblers 9′ Compilation. Hackman’s debut album ‘As Above, So Below’ is scheduled for release in 2015.
