On Pekenikes have played a great deal of spanish instrumentists from the 60s: Juan y Junior, Eddy Guzman, Felipe Alcover, Jose Barranco, Tony Luz, Pepe Nieto, Jorge Matey, Felix Arribas, Vicente Gasca, Ignacio Martin Sequeros or even Luis Eduardo Aute, covering english songs and later composing their own melodies. Their first big hit was "Los cuatro muleros", in the middle 60s. In June 1965 they backed "The Beatles" in their Madrid concert.
