One of Canada's most successful DJs, Hatiras (first name: George) has performed and DJed at countless venues in a long list of countries, such as Japan, Colombia, Poland, the United States, Germany, Australia, and of course Canada. In 2003, he founded the label Blow Media, and he was also responsible for the creation of the Hatrax label. As a remixer, he has had the rare pleasure of working with some of dance-pop's big players, including Kylie Minogue and Loleatta Holloway. His 2008 Juno Award nomination was further indication of his talent and reputation, but it was not his first go at the award, having won it in 2002 for the track "Spaced Invader," and again in 2006 (alongside Macca) for the collaborative effort "Spanish Fly." He has also been the host of a weekly radio show.
