His compositional style draws on elements of classical minimalism, groove-based jazz and electronica. 　　 　　He has been scoring music-to-picture now for ten years, and has written music for approximately two hundred commercials, films, television & theatre pieces including the BAFTA-nominated (2006) short animation “Kamiya’s Correspondence” directed by Sumito Sakakibara. 　　 　　Tom has a Masters in Composition for the Screen from the Royal College of Music, and a Diploma in Sound Engineering and Production from Alchemea College in London. He also has a degree in Social & Political Science from St John's College, Cambridge. 　　 　　Recent credits include the classical remix of Daft Punk's Aerodynamic on Ministry of Sound's compilation 'Uncovered,' the score to his second feature film, Robert Cavanah's Pimp (Triple S productions), his debut classical EP Super Collider as well as adverts for the Independent, Boots, Ikea, Pantene, Guardian & Max Factor.
