One of the leading female artists in the Malaysian Hip Hop and R&B scene, KAYDA was born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Born in 1991, Kayda grew up in a musical environment where her parents who have worked in the industry for more than 30 years are one of the most respected musicians in Malaysia (Her dad is a music producer and her mom is a singer ). Kayda started writing her own music at the age of 13and performed at Hip Hop gigs during her teenage years.
