Parisian producer Shiba San started his career as a hip-hop DJ and beatmaker for artists in his native France, but branched out to create his own music in 2013. In addition to his love of hip-hop, Shiba San also credited Chicago house for much of his hypnotic, bass-heavy sound. One of his earliest singles, "Okay," was issued on Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird label in 2014. The All About the Booty EP followed that same year. As he continued to release singles, his grassroots following grew, so much so that DJ Mag named him "Best of French" DJ in 2016.
