Schlager singer Melanie Miric grew up near Lake Constance. A fan of hitmaker Eugen Römer's work with schlager diva Andrea Berg, Miric contacted the producer via email and sent him two demo tracks. Römer responded by inviting her to his studio in Cologne, where the two began to work on Miric's debut record. Preceded by the single "Wieviel Fantasie Hat die Nacht," the album (entitled Ungezähmt) was released in August 2012 and debuted at number 38 in the German charts and number 41 in Austria. ~ Christian Genzel
