Elise auditioned for the 2011 reality competition series The Voice, featuring celebrity judges/coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton. In the second episode, Lily Elise performed “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys, and was selected to join Christina Aguilera’s team after being given a second chance to perform in the blind auditions. Christina chose Lily as the battle winner in Week 4, singing “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. For the live show episode Lily performed solo with “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie and “Lady Marmalade” with her coach Christina and the other members of the team.
