SOAK, a.k.a, Bridie Monds-Watson was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and brought up in Derry. She is ‘16’ years old. Based on the lyrics and wealth of musical talent oozing out of this teenage girl, you would be forgiven for thinking she had the rock solid, songwriting knowledgeable brain of a 56 year old. She released her first EP, "Trains" in March 2012 to widespread acclaim. Her second EP, "Sea Creatures" was launched in August 2012 and has been the springboard to some great success. She has recently appeared on RTE’s Late Late Show, Other Voices and other status raising platforms.
