Born in 1967 to Late Shri.Prabhakar Pandit and Smt. Anuradha Pandit, both acclaimed violinists, Kedar proved to be the rightful heir to the musical heritage and talent which the family had to offer. Kedar worked on his first film as a music director while he was 13 years of age.
After this he never looked back and worked on over 350 different kinds of projects as a music director for last 30 years which includes Films, Albums, Commercials & serials.
His work for the ‘spiritual’ domain in the music industry is epic as the list is unending when we try to recall music that has been appreciated and applauded all over the world.
Kedar Pandit is also a recipient of the Mewati Gharana Purasakaar, Asthapailu Sangeetkaar Puraskar by Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sugam Sangeet Sammelan and Keshawrao Bhole Sangeetkaar (From Swaranand Pratisthan), Indian Recording Arts Awards (I.R.A.A.), Shaniwar Wada Puraskar at Shaniwar Wada Kala Mahotsav for all round excellence in music direction.
