Vocal duo formed in 1976 in New York, by Hansel Martinez, Raul Alfonso, co-founders of Charanga '76 as vocalists. In 1980, they left La Charanga 76 and New York, and relocated to Miami, Florida where they formed their own orchestra Hansel & Raul Y La Charanga.
