DJ Ganyani is already over 20 years in the music business. The now famous DJ was born in Soweto, South Africa. When he was twelve years young, his mother gave him the albums ‘Thriller’ and ‘Holiday’ of Michael Jackson and Madonna. From that time on he started collecting music. When his mother died, he stopped studying and started to focus on his music fulltime. First he started selling his tapes on the streets and at Taxi ranks. A funny thing is that he can thank his neighbors for his DJ career. DJ Ganyani was always playing his music in the garden and one day his neighbors asked him to play at a Stokvel Party. After this event he was hooked at DJ’ing.
