LaTocha Scott (born October 2, 1973) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and occasional actress. She is best known as a member of the multi-platinum selling R&B group Xscape, who rose to popularity in the 1990s.   Early life   Scott was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother Gloria McFarlin was a teacher and her father Randolph Scott a pastor. Music was a constant in Scott's life as her father and two uncles sang in a group called the Scott Three in the 1970s. By age six, Scott had begun singing in church, weddings, and local talent shows. By age 11, she had recorded her first song with her father. Scott attended Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Georgia graduating in 1991. Scott has one sibling, Tamika Scott. She lives with her husband (Rocky Bivens), and son Jamon. Jamon now plays basketball at Troy U in Alabama.
