Yatha Sidhra was formed by the Fichter brothers from Freiburg (south east Germany) rooted in the 1960s rock and soul combo Lea Gamble, then the band Brontosaurus, renamed Yatha Sidhra after Achim Reichel signed them via his Gorilla Music for an LP release on Brain. The only document of Yatha Sidhra is the one LP release "A Meditation Mass" widely considered as an iconic album of cross-genre Krautrock.
After they disbanded the Fichter brothers carried on as the duo Dreamworld. They were also involved with a Quintessence reformation at some point.
