Australia has never had a strong association with hip hop or rap, there’s probably only a handful of acts that you can list off the top of your head. You’ve got the established guys like Hilltop Hoods, Bliss N Eso and 360 and then a few new kids on the block. We’ve noticed a wave of fresh new artists who are making their way into the spotlight, most notably All Day and our boy Gill Bates. 　　Gill is a showman, he looks at home with a mic in his hand, stirring up crowds and sending front row babes in to a frothing frenzy. He’s a classroom clown who keeps spirits high and everyone laughing, besides his teachers of course who struggle to get a word in when he’s in the room. Gill and his pall Allday are usually relegated to the front row of the classroom, they’re the life of the party though so wherever they are the rabble will follow. 　　In true Gill fashion he’s decided to flip things on their head for Tutorial 4.
