Born 31 August 1993, Siviwe Nkanyuza (commonly known as Kimosabe) is one of the Eastern Cape's hottest exports - he raps, he sings, he produces, plays multiple instruments and writes his own songs. 　　Kimosabe began his musical journey at the age of 14 when he and his brother converted an unused outside building at their home into a home studio setup where he taught himself how to make beats, mix and record music, since then he has toured the Eastern Cape with his brother and fellow musician Lwansta as well as being part of the Hansa Festival of Legends competition and the Shiz-Niz Mix tape Competition. 　　During his high school years, Kimosabe (then under the alias Sixfo) would record his own projects as well as helping other neighborhood music hopefuls record their material, after completing matric he headed out to Johannesburg to pursue music fulltime and to study. 　　Apart from his own musical abilities as a rapper and a vocalist, Kimosabe is also an accomplished producer, having produced for the likes of F-Eezy, PDotO, iFani (on his Metro Award Nominated album I Believes in Me: 1st Quadrant) and many others and he is known for his eclectic production style which incorporates different elements from different musical genres. 　　Kimosabe plans to release his much anticipated mix tape titled Premosabe this year.
