Her background is highly international: She’s born on the Philippines, her mum is African, and the dad is Norwegian. She lived in Norway from she was four years old, until she was 12. Then she moved to London, where she went to high school. From there she left for the US, where she stayed from she was 17 to 20 years old.
Today she is back in Oslo, Norway, where she concentrates fully on her artist career.
Qleo has been singing all her life, but her first proper performance was at a school play where she played Sandy in Grease. All through high school, she was simply called Sandy. All her life she has listened, and been influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Lauren Hill and Chris Brown.
Qleo debuted as an artist with the single ‘Someone’s Watching Me’. It’s an urban bass heavy, mid-tempo ballade, featuring British-Swedish rapper Lazee. ‘Someone’s Watching Me’ is this years theme song for the TV-show Big Brother.
