Romanian native BOg has the skills of creating beautiful layering sounds to help set the mood for long journeys in his sets that explore the depths and boundaries of creativity. BOg’s understanding of people: what they sense, what they feel, what they want to imagine, is a part of what distinguishes him from other DJs and producers. The fast-rising producer is well versed in the art of entertaining the more discerning dance music fans.
About twelve years ago BOg traded his Romanian home for a Paris residency. But it took some more years until the DJ and producer gained ground in the electronic music scene, which was accompanied due to BOg's close mentor- and relationship to Bedrock Records label head John Digweed. The British icon signed BOg to his label and allowed him to remix his classic tune 'Emerald'. Acknowledged for his outstanding musical skills and versatility, BOg’s productions have been strongly influenced by bands and artists such as Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin or The Chemical Brothers. Besides releasing on Bedrock or Suara, BOg’s collaboration with Tim Engelhardt 'No More Words' got into the hands of Innervisions’ masterminds Dixon and Ame who signed the track and released it on the label's highly-anticipated compilation 'Secret Weapons Part 9'. Prior to the release, BOg was invited to perform a magical B2B set with John Digweed at his legendary show 'Transitions'. Furthermore, the Parisian played at The BPM Festival in Mexico alongside Innervisions artist Eagles & Butterflies in January 2017 as well as he played at famous Romanian festival Sunwaves and Ministry Of Sound in London just to name a few. BOg's musical approach crosses boundaries as he delivers original atmospheric tracks that are joined by exquisite flavored beats. His latest production, a collaboration with his partner in crime Tim Engelhardt, 'Why Should' is released on Solomon's label Diynamic and marks another big step in the young career of the DJ and producer.
