Anne Takle is a Norwegian born singer/songwriter. She’s based in Kristiansand, the southern capital of Norway. Waltzing Alone is her debut album, based on her own music. 　　If you ask Anne to define herself as a musician she would tell you that she is first and foremost a composer. Her strength and identity as an artist lies in her natural songwriting. She would explain that her songs are ”the soundtrack to her life”, indicating that music is a necessity in her life. If you ask her about her singing voice she would be less confident. Producer Rolf Lovland says: When I first heard Anne’s demos she was very shy about her own singing. I actually loved her soft and intimate voice, so I almost had to persuade her into performing her own songs. I could hear a real performer – one of those unique artists who just have to tell their own story.
