My musical taste is plugged into several genres and styles. 　　Growing up my house was filled with Motown, Soul, Funk and Disco with the likes of RAH Band, Earth Wind and Fire and The Jacksons always being played. 　　Once I could make decisions about the music I could play I quickly found myself immersed in early Hardcore, Rave and Jungle becoming obsessed with labels like Reinforced, Moving Shadow and Good Looking. This was encouraged by experience with Pirate Radio and lots of under-age clubbing in the mid-nineties. 　　From DnB I made my way through house, techno and breakbeat - all of which taught me the value of identifying original music through modern sampling leading me to finally arrive at the delicious source of most modern dance music - Disco. 　　The final piece of the puzzle was my time working at Elbert Wurlings where I was exposed to an eclectic blend of music and people - teaching me to always be yourself whether people like it or not - nothing is more important. 　　Inspired by the great Larry Levan, I crave high-energy disco and soul from Sylvester to Sylvia Striplin, Two Man Sound to Loose Joints. 　　If it's funky it will get my attention no matter what label, year or style and I love to spend time with people who share this passion.
