Rebeka comes from the historic city Poznan, Poland. Poznań is also known as a city that is at the forefront of electronica and dance music DJs and producers and a lot of weight come from this part of Poland. Rebeka was founded in 2008 as a solo project by Iwona Skwarek which engaged/guide to a dirty and minimalist sound. Today it is a duo and part of DISCOTexas, independent label based in Lisbon, which brings together young and talented artists of the electronic scene. Beside Iwona (vocals, keyboards and guitar) is the producer Bartosz Szczesny (synths, bass). Together they make a synth-pop experimental outrageously catchy, melodic and consistent. The duo had already produced an EP called Fail, very nice also, but that yielded no single. Legend has it wall started a fateful night in the belly of a nuclear bunker.
