The twosome, who first collaborated to record music for the 1986 film Dogs in Space, co-wrote and co-produced Max Q's self-titled debut album, a far more noisy and politically charged effort than Hutchence's past work in INXS. Although the singles "Way of the World" and "Sometimes" cracked the Aussie charts, the record nevertheless failed to garner much international attention and was the duo's sole release.
