Gabriela Parra es una creadora polifacética de música experimental así como de bandas sonoras. Nace en Amsterdam en 1989 y fue educada entre músicos.   Después de una clásica formación como pianista y compositora entre academias renombradas alrededor del mundo (Marshall, Barcelona; Edimburgo, Chile, etc) ella ha desarrollado su propio estilo, donde lo clásico y moderno se funden con un propósito: emocionar.   Entre sus trabajos publicados nos encontramos con "The Child who Talked to The Wind" en el compilatorio "KEYS" por American Typerecord label. Como compositora de bandas sonoras ha realizado "25 céntimos" (Director: Alex Mercè) o "Consuelo" (Javier Suárez).   Entre sus proyectos con otros músicos se encuentra "Clicks & Keys", fusión de música electrónica y clásica junto al artista Davic Nod. También cabe destacar colaboraciones con Metroxylon, Cremadelic, Sara Hutchinson, Tickets del Metro o Kamil.   Su última obra: "YOUNG PEOPLE", ha sido escogida por radio nacional españa para incluirla en el proyecto AUDIO-MAD.   The young multifaceted creator and performer Gabriela Parra, was born in   Amsterdam in 1989 in musicians family.   Raised and educated in New York, Edinburgh, Montpellier, Almería, Chile and   Barcelona, Gabriela Parra has developed her own music style with strong   classical and Euro-mediterranean roots where the old Hispanic melodies and   harmonies play a dominant role. Her work embraces Classical Music and   Electronica.   She has studied at prestigious music courses including an intensive course   on Film Composing at the 7TH International Festival of Film Music celebrated in Ubeda, and a Film composing course at the Napier University Edinburgh offered by the Pacific   Northwest University with the Hollywood composer Hummie Man (2010), L'aula de música (2009), the Marshall Academy (2007) and Microfusa (2006)in Barcelona and the “Summer Music courses” University of South Dakota (2005) . Her theme of the 1st Global Scarlatti Marathon, created for this unique international event in December 2006 was listened by more than 70.000 people on the web.   One of her tracks, "The Child who talked to the Wind" has been released on   the "Keys" compilation by American Typerecords label, also including tracks   by Peter Broderick or Machinefabriek.   Gabriela Parra also works on composing soundtracks for short films, such as   "25 centimos"(Alex Mercè), "Consuelo" (Javier Suárez) or her recent projects for "Pasa el Hacha" (Leandro Hernan) and "Mujer Boxeo" (Albert Lagos).
