DIMMI is a French artist who produces deep house music. He grew up in a city close to Paris and started to play music at an early age. He played the saxophone for several years. When he became older he created a rock band with three friends and became the singer/guitarist. Their band lasted for four years and it was DIMMI's first experience in the music scene.       When the band split up in 2012, he started producing electronic music. A music genre he liked for a long time. At first, artists such as Daft Punk, Air, Laurent, Garnier and some old rock bands influenced Dimmi. But as time went by, he discovered artists like Bakermat, Parov Stelar, Joris Delacroix and more underground artists like Nicolas Jaar or Bonobo. It was during this period that he started to release his first tracks in a new genre that was better known as: ‘Deep House’.       DIMMI felt comfortable with this style, because it enabled him to mix his love for electronic music with the melodic sound of instruments. His first track Promesses was born and became a huge hit in Europe. Receiving massive support from prominent artists in the scene. During his studies in Paris Dimmi meets saxophone player Bertrand Lacoste. They share the same love for music and have great synergy together. Their collaboration results in tracks such as: Et Voilà and Promesses. Together they performed at venues and festivals all over Europe.       DIMMI is supported by big YouTube channels and blogs like: TheSoundYouNeed, GetTheSound and MrRevillz. He currently has more than 45 millions streams on his tracks. He signed tracks with some of the biggest electronic labels like Spinnin’ Records and Armada. Dimmi also worked on collaborations and remixes with big artists like Goldfish, Möwe and Klangtherapeuten.       In 2017, DIMMI signed with music publishing company: BMG Rights Management. He recently went to Los Angeles where he worked on several new tracks. In September 2017, he will release a new track with the rising Brazilian star Zeeba. Goldfish and Dimmi have also decided to join forces again, with a release that will be available in October 2017.
