KarlK was born and raised in Brittany, France. 　　During his chilhood, he studied music, singing and drums at the local music school. At the age of 14 he continued learning by himself and became an autodidact. 　　Largely influenced by the "Rave" movement happening in Brittany, his first DJ sets with vinyls made the Celtic earth shake. 　　His style softened with time as he fell in love with Deep-House in 2013. He then started to compose and produce his own music. 　　KarlK's first track "Colors of Africa" received wide support from the main musical Youtube channels around the web. 　　His style has become more and more nuanced, both from the musical as well as the technical side. 　　Quickly recognized in the French Deep House movement, he started playing alongside major artists such as Clapton, Sam Feldt and De Hofnar. 　　His music has received recognition from world class DJ's like Robin Schultz, Thomas Jack and DJ Tiesto. 　　In 2015, Charles signed with the Italian label "TIMES RECORDS". The label represents such well known artists as Lost Frequencies and Feder. His debut song featuring singer GuitK is set to be released at the end of August 2015.
