This is Smooky MarGielaaa, the new prodigy of the NYC rap scene. 
Smooky is a 16-year-old kid, born and raised in the South Bronx, with a brilliant talent for melodies. Smooky's name derives from his enthusiasm for the Belgian luxury fashion house Maison Margiela; he’s always wearing the iconic Margiela “Future” sneakers. 
 From the hypnotic "Stay '100'" to the A$AP Rocky-cosigned “Out My Face” and the joyful “Layed Up,” Smooky’s sharp voice floats on these cloudy beats and, for a 15-year-old, showcases skillful songwriting. 
 Never forgetting his origins, Smooky often talks about his grinding, his old life in the Bronx and his quick rise on the stardom.
