Neal Chatha (born September 8) known by his stage name, The PropheC, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer of Indian descent. His debut album, Forever, released in 2011, which contained one of his first hit singles Sohni. Since then, he has released two studio albums, Futureproof (2014) and The Lifestyle (2016). He has also released a free-for-download mixtape titled The Dream Room (2013). He is the founder of his own record label, PropheC Productions, which currently has two main singers: himself and Raashi Sood. The fusion of hip-hop, r&b, and pop elements with Punjabi lyrics and South Asian themes has allowed his music to be very influential in North America, England, and the South-Asian subcontinent.
