全员中国美院，跳脱传统线性器乐编排之外的生物哲学，一种很新的数学摇滚像藤蔓一样在国内器乐底潮中生长开来。 　　东方哲学与奇偶错拍的交织，一改器乐摇滚冷峻的外衣，基于理性起点对于物种起源与共存的思考，宗族之外的生命科学摇滚，否否得正，即是鬼否。 　　GRIFFO, a math rock band born in China Academy of Art. “GRIFFO” originated from the abbreviation of “GRIFFONAGE”, which means “scrawled notes by doctors", just like their works full of wonderful ideas, unrestrained and vigorous style. 　　GRIFFO think their music “unsound” as there is no traditional verse and chorus and their music also goes against the normality of auditory logic, just like you open a door but find a wall only behind it. With complicated orchestration, their works can inadvertently bring the audience into the dizzy but addictive maze of numbers. 　　In 2014, GRIFFO released their first EP, "The QUEEN of TRANCE". Two years later, their second EP, “COSMOS EGG” produced by Kaoru Miura, a famous Japanese math rock producer, was released. 　　In 2019, GRIFFO released their first full-length album, “NEO ENIAC”, using programming to show the process of human beings entering a new era of AI. GRIFFO with nerves and longings and AI wander in the virtual reality of man-machine integration, implanting an AI-style romantic system into your brain. In 2022, after a gap of 2 years, GRIFFO released the first three singles of another full-length album, which were "Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species", "Ultra Realistic Ecological Bottle", and "Law of Nature". In the hustle and bustle of the modern world, GRIFFO go against the stream, tracing the beginning of life based on the grand thinking about human organization and pondering the sig- nificance of human existence and the origin of civilization.
