Pieter de Graaf followed a conservatory education as a jazz pianist. For years he played in various bands and with various artists at home and abroad with, among others, Wouter Hamel, Illicit, Sandra van Nieuwland, Conny Janssen Danst, Anne van Veen, Dorona Alberti, The Kyteman Orchestra and his own Pieter de Graaf Trio.
