Kirk Howe: Lead Vocals. Kirk has been a mainstay of the San Diego music community for the past 20 years and has worked in genres as diverse as funk, jazz, swing, disco, rock, pop and even Gregorian chant. His boundless energy, intensity and vocal depth will draw you in and back to that decade of excess, indulgence and unadulterated fun. Long live the ’80s!
Breanne Arrigo: Lead Vocals. Breanne is ready to rock your neon socks off! Recently arriving from Toronto, Canada to join forces with BETAMAXX, she’s excited to hit the San Diego scene. Starring in multiple Broadway musicals, touring Canada and being nominated for internationally recognized awards, her dynamic stage presence and killer vocal skillz will leave you with the best ’80s experience of your life!
Eric Valenzuela: Bandleader, Guitars, Drums, Vocals. Eric keeps these maniacs in line with his great leadership talent, consisting of mostly torture and name calling. Eric has been a musician most of his life including guitar, drums, saxophone, keyboards, bass, and lead cowbell.
Andy McRory: Bass, Keyboards, Vocals. Andy’s been a gigging bassist for nearly 20 years, and has lent his impeccable groove to jazz, funk, and pop bands to many groups in San Diego. He has performed and recorded with Grammy Award nominee Peter Rubalcava.
Hans Becker: Keyboards, Bass, Vocals. Hans studied music and education at SDSU and has been gigging in San Diego pop and rock bands for nearly 20 years. He provides the authentic ’80s sound that gives BETAMAXX its polish.
Wayne Duncan: Guitars, Vocals. Wayne Duncan has been playing music professionally since 1989. In the late 90’s, Wayne toured the South Pacific and West Coast of the United States playing guitar and singing back up with the chart topping Polynesian band Pau-Hana. During this time he also played live and recorded with American Music Award winner Ishmael Sealy from The Killer Bees. Wayne has played guitar on hundreds of albums while producing music in Southern California during the last ten years.
Tim Breech: Drums. Tim is a native San Diegan who’s also a major globe-trotter. With a previous band, Liquid Blue, he performed throughout 45 different countries for the U.S. military, government officials, and NATO headquarters. He also enjoyed a stint with Princess cruise lines, and with some of the best corporate bands in Southern California.
