Jada Kingdom, hailed as “Jamaica’s Alternative Voice Of Pain” by The FADER, stormed the entertainment scene in Summer '17 and immediately had the world standing to attention. The irrepressible 21-year-old Jamaican grew up in 7 Miles, Bull Bay - on the outer bands of Jamaica’s capital city Kingston. Bubbling with creativity and self-confidence from a young age, Jada started singing when she was 8, inspired by artists such as Minnie Riperton, Nina Simone, Deniece Williams and Sam Cooke. 　　Her first venture into entertainment came at 16, cast as the lead in the video for Sean Kingston’s “One Away." Focus shifted to her own musical career and Jada, ever the champion of self-love, christened her body her ‘Kingdom’ and her stage name took life. She quickly became a viral sensation - her instagram page @jadakingdom is now over 1.1 million strong. 　　Jada's debut single/video "Love Situations" dropped in July '17. The video's creativity, inspired by hit TV series Dexter, sent the video to #1 on YouTube’s Trending chart. The release was the 1st in a 4-part visual EP titled 'Wull On,' which saw the anti-heroine traveling to Cuba on her adventures and leaving viewers wondering after the quadrilogy’s final scene. Her viral hit song "Banana" was picked up by Island Records in the UK, followed up by the Reggaeton mashup "Heavy." Jada was chosen as the face of iconic Jamaican rum brand Wray & Nephew’s 2020 campaign.
