He has composed extensively for CNN, providing the music of 1968: The Year That Changed America as well as each of the 'decades series', including the upcoming The 2000's and fan favorites The Sixties, The Seventies and The Eighties. Nathaniel has also written seasons of additional music on many television programs such as Arrow (CW), Resurrection and Pan Am (ABC). Previously, Nathaniel composed the score for the documentary Shakespeare High, which was an official selection at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Nathaniel, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, has degrees in music composition from both Butler University (Indianapolis) and Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh). He completed his film scoring studies at University of Southern California's prestigious Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program. When Nathaniel is not hard at work in the studio, he is enjoying life in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
