by Drago BonacichChilean female threesome Venus was formed in the early '90s by Rosemary Vargas, a high school student, joined by singer Andrea Alarcón, guitarists Celia and Marianela Zurita, and drummer Claudia Celis. After bassist Claudia Parra joined in, the band started making its first record called El Ataque de Zorrita, produced by Claudio Quiñones and Guido Nisensen, released by BMG in 1996. A year later, Claudia Celis left the group. Around the same time, Venus participated in Nicole's Sueños de Transito. They also composed the main title for Last Call's movie soundtrack. In 1998, the band recorded Dolor De Fin De Siglo, produced by Sara Ugarte and Cristian Hayne.
