Luttenberger*Klug is an Austrian pop/rock duo in the vein of Christina Stürmer and Silbermond, consisting of vocalist/guitarist Chrissi Klug (born on February 5, 1989) and vocalist/keyboard player Michelle Luttenberger (born on July 12, 1990). The teen duo met at one of Chrissi Klug's concerts and quickly developed a friendship. Teaming up as Luttenberger*Klug, the two girls recorded their debut single, "Super Sommer" (Super Summer), in 2005, and when they re-released it in 2006, it entered the Austrian and German charts. A follow-up single, "Vergiss Mich" (Forget Me), followed in fall 2006, entering the Austro Hit Top Ten at number one. Their pop/rock debut album, Mach Dich Bereit! (Get Ready!), was produced by Stürmer producer Alexander Kahr and was released in February 2007, reaching number five in the Austrian charts despite lukewarm reviews. The two girls and their band, which includes Hari Vorraber (drums), Ali G. (lead guitar), and Patrick Braun (bass), played several gigs in 2007, among them supporting gigs for fellow Austrian pop singer Christina Stürmer, the Sugababes, and teen rockers Tokio Hotel.
