HERE were created in Vyskov in 1990. Inspired by shoegazers like Ride, Boo Radleys or My Bloody Valentine, they released a dream-plaque Swirl (1993), where noisy guitar bindings sophisticatedly blended with the subtle variety of sounds.
They came back from England in 1993 without a pretentious contract, but with much experience and record of The Peel Session (officially under the name Sikusaq).
Already with a new singer, Francis Valeri Chauvey, they shot the album Entre Deux Soleils for the German company Alison Records, which was modified in the Czech Republic under the title We Are ... (Indies Rec.). Creating HERE as it cleanses, and shifting from a more raw guitar form to less structured music with predominance of acoustic, especially string, instruments. "We tried to do what it was like to do with different effects and found that it would not work out this way. We liked natural instruments - the Finnish harp, the percussion, the Indian instruments we brought from Mexico, and another from Nepal and India." They said HERE in January 1997.
